• Rent kimono @ Yume Kyoto
1.     Nishiki Market
2.     Kiyomizu-dera Temple (Jishu Shrine & Otowa Waterfall)

What a short stay in our Kyoto's apartment! Just slept and it's time to check-out in the morning! First itinerary of the day, Fushimi Inari Shrine!
Inari Station!

We didn't walk very far.. Don't forget we are sleepy and tired and we know we have to walk a lot in kimono later as well.. The furthest we walked to is to some small shrine with this nice view...

More cherry blossoms!

Then, it's time for us to make our way down to Yume Kyoto! Do note that I have already made a reservation before my trip! Cherry blossom season is a peak period for Kimono rentals. There was a customer who tried to walk-in and she was turned away as the shop is fully booked! Read >>here<< for details on my kimono rental with Yume Kyoto!

Waiting outside as they are not opened yet!

In kimono!

In our kimono, we head to Nishiki Market first! They sell a lot of variety of stuffs! Seafood, dry goods, snacks, konpeitō!
To Nishiki market!

Stopped by this store for some food!

LOOK AT ALL THOSE FOOD!

We had unagi and hotate!

Yummy! They were so nice! And small enough for our tight abdomen due to our kimono! After walking along Nishiki Market, we decided to find a purikura spot!

Very abrupt plan but we googled around (can't really find good information..) and we headed towards MOVIX京都, Japan, 〒604, 8035 京都府京都市中京区桜之町, 中京区新京極通三条下る桜之町400. Before we reached there, we found our purikura booths! I think it was along Teramachi Street! Read my post on purikura >>here<<

So happy indeed!

Happy with our purikura, it was time to bus down to Kiyomizu-dera temple! It was quite a walk from the bus stop to Kiyomizu-dera! Up slope all the way!! In our kimomo!! In the rain!!! :O We both were feeling rather fatigue and out-of-sorts and we had a short break at Umezono 梅園清水店 for some dango! For directions and store details, click >>here<<
Too many people along the street! But this is the store front

Dango and some matcha snack

Finally, we arrived at Kiyomizu-dera temple! Lots of people were there! We didn't explore much of the temple ground; we are in kimono please and there are stairs everywhere! Also, it was still drizzling.. We had a fun experience here though! There were tourists asking to take photos with us or of us! ;D I believed some thought we were Japanese! ^^V Anyways, we snapped lots of pictures here.. Since we are in kimono and it took us a lot of effort to reach this temple! Cannot waste our effort and time to come here! >.<
Rain rain go away~

Gazing *ahem, posing* at the sakura

We head back to Gion after this. We bought a matcha Baumkuchen from 京ばあむ 祇園北店 (you can google the kanji to find the store location) to try! It was surprisingly good! ;P Didn't buy extra to Singapore though.. I think it expires quite fast and we still have more days to go in Japan!

We still had some time before it is time for us to return our kimono, so we decided to head to Maruyama Park. To get to the park, you will need to enter Yasaka Shrine!

Then off we go to return the kimono! Phew! What a relief to be free!! :D Time to find food! We had researched on a shop that serves kyoto-style sushi, Izuu いづう. For directions and store details, click >>here<<

Miso soup

Kyoto style sushi is not my kind of sushi. I don't really like the taste :/ Well, at least now I know how Kyoto style sushi taste like. Then we headed to Kyoto station, walked around a bit and headed back to Osaka! Went to Dotonbori again for some more shopping!

Glico Man at night

Went back to Fukushima to find a dinner place! We wanted to find a ramen place! Haven't eaten any ramen at all since we have been there! For directions and store details, click >>here<<

RAMEN!

Gyoza

Yummy! Nice ramen! Soup is flavourful and tasty! The egg was YUM! The gyoza skin is thin and crispy, filling was tasty and hot! :P Recommended!

And... that's the end of Day 6!
