JAPAN THEMED RESTAURANT: ALICE FANTASY RESTAURANT (Alice in Fantasy Land)

Alice Fantasy Restaurant as the name suggest, is a Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant! It belongs to Diamond Dining who runs a variety of restaurants and themed restaurants. They have a few Alice-themed restaurants. All are located in Tokyo other than Alice in Fantasy Land (幻想の国のアリス) which is located in Osaka.

Online reservation is possible, however, other than the fact that the site is in Japanese; they require a Japan mobile number. I managed to make a reservation anyways; don't ask me how I did it :/ You can try asking google >.< So anyways, I successfully booked my reservation!

The restaurant in located at the first level in a building, D.D.HOUSE. We were early for our reservation and had to wait a while before we are served.

Awesome looking menu!

I believe this is the set we had

Mocktails! Notice the small bottle that comes with the "Drink Me"note!

Appetizer
Erm.. salad with sashimi; taste not bad

Cheshire pizza apparently.
The pizza was ok, but the crackers were tasteless. The purple powder on the cracker might make you choke on the cracker somemore & is also tasteless.

Timed Soup
Cute plating and design. The soup is a bit diluted though.

Cat shaped pasta
Oh dear, this is a failure of a pasta. The sauce is so thin; it's soup. How do you eat pasta in soup? Furthermore, the soup doesn't have much taste, so of course, the pasta is tasteless. That's not how you cook pasta!

Rabbit shaped chicken
Can't remember how is taste already. Possibly average.

Dessert
Taste normal~

Complimentary tea bag

In all, the theme and design of the food and place is good. I believe if you understand Japanese, the waitress, "Alice", will tell some story to the guests. That's what I have observed to the other guests served. However, the food is a disappointment; considering that there is a cover charge on top of the food charges. The Alice experience is too expensive for me. Besides, this is a restaurant, so the food should be up to standard.

My review of Alice Fantasy restaurant might have been made lower by the fact that I had eaten at Ninja Kyoto which is slightly cheaper as compared to Alice & their food were mostly good; definitely better than the one I had in Alice. Not sure if I would try their Alice restaurants in Tokyo when I go there next year.. Probably have to read and research more on the restaurants and see if it is worth my time and money :/
