Chicken Up at Tampines!

Finally tried Chicken Up for dinner recently! Chicken Up serves korean fried chicken and instagram-worthy watermelon soju. They also serve korean patbingsu for desserts!

This is what we ordered!
1. Ganjang Chicken Wings ($12)
Out of the 2 types of chicken wings we ordered, I prefer this flavour! Very crispy and flavourful!

2. Yaangnyum Chicken Wings ($12)

This is not bad but the sauce makes it very messy to hold. The sauce also makes the skin less crispy and I prefer having crispy skin. Otherwise, this is yum as well!

3. Seafood Topokki ($20)
Looks spicy but this actually has a sweet taste and mildly spicy. It has seafood like mussels, crab sticks and squids together with the rice cakes. Deliciously! There are some glass noodles in the dish too!

4. Andong Chicken ($35)
( Photo grabbed from Chicken Up website!)
Didn't managed to take a photo before the food enters ours hungry stomachs >.< This dish is the most spicy out of our orders! You can taste the spiciness after you swallowed the food and the aftertaste of the spiciness stays in your mouth! Glass noodles, potatoes, carrots and rice cakes are in this dish as well.

5. Watermelon Soju ($38)
I'm not really a soju person, or any alcoholic drinks for that matter. But my friends who drinks says it's nice. This is a big portion so do grab a few friends before ordering this! They serve apple, pineapple and a few other varieties of fruit soju as well.6. Melon Bingsu ($20)
Dessert time! This is awesome! Even though I was quite full from the food already, this is too delicious to not eat! Nearing the bottom, you can really taste the melon juice in the shaved ice, so sweet! A must-try!

In all, you can see that this is not a cheap dinner, but it's worth a try and taste! You can get a 10% discount when you show the cashier that you posted a photo of their food on social media platforms; instagram or facebook.
