DAY 10 in TOKYO: Fun in Ikebukuro! [Part 2]

• Travel to Doraemon Museum
• Head to Ikebukuro
1. Sunshine City
2. J-World Tokyo (Went to Namja Town only since we find that we were unwilling to spend so much on entrance fees)
3. Namja Town
• Dinner at Swallowtail Café

Time to continue my Day 10 in Japan! Sunshine City is quite a bit of walk from Ikebukuro station, however you get to walk pass quite a few character goods stores. We also dropped by SEGA for some more purikura and we finally found a place for cosplay!! We decide to come back for the cosplay rental later since we will walk pass SEGA to return to the train station.

We took one normal Purikura though!

Sunshine city is a BIG mall. We got a bit confused on how to walk towards the section where Namja Town, J-World Tokyo and the Pokemon Centre are located. We managed to find a leaflet of the mall and found our way there in the end >.<

The passport pass for Namja Town and J-World Tokyo are not cheap; costing around 3,000 yen each (approx S$38). We decided to just choose one attraction to enter since we are feeling a bit broke. You can also choose the option for purchasing just the entry fee which is less than 1,000 yen. I just thought that it is a bit lame to purchase the entry only pass since I'm going to spend the time and money to enter but end up unable play of any the attractions inside without paying extra money for the rides.

We chose Namja Town cause the characters looked cute >.< Either attraction is worded in Japanese anyways so we chose the cuter one...

We played a few of the rides inside. Even though we cant understand what's going on for most of the rides, the rides were interactive enough to be fun despite not knowing the language! It is also a great place to takes loads of photos inside!

Are you scared of the dark?

I have rised~

Waiting~

We spent quite a while inside playing with the rides and taking photos! Our next stop is Pokemon Centre! Wishing I have the money and the luggage space for the pokemon items! However, I just bought a small egg-ed shaped torchic, pikachu keychain and pikachu-decorated files.

After wandering around the mall for a while more, we made our way to Swallowtail cafe, a butler cafe! It is highly recommended to make a reservation through their website to guarantee a seat. Just google translate their japanese site! Click >>here<< to read my guide on how to make a reservation.

We couldn't take any photos inside the cafe. So sadly can't let you all see the awesomeness of the place! But I highly recommend a visit for both the experience and the food! :D

After that we headed back to SEGA for our cosplay purikura! It costs 200yen for each costume rental and this was already a promo price since they were renting all the costumes at 200yen. There were some outfits which costs more than 200yen originally.
Love live~

Pretty in pastels!

Police and thief!

After snapping photos, we did some quick shopping at a Uniqlo shop nearby before heading back to our apartment.

And... that's the end of Day 10 Part 2!
To Day 11!~
