JAPAN THEMED RESTAURANT: KING OF THE PIRATES

King of the Pirates (キング・オブ・ザ・パ) is pirate-themed restaurant! King of the Pirates belongs to Diamond Dining group. English menu is available and during our visit, the staffs there were able to understand simple English. Reservation for dinner is available at the Japanese Gurunavi site.

We had lunch at King of the Pirates and ordering a lunch set entitles you to the food at the buffet area. There are salads, soups, bread and chocolate fondue at the buffet table.

Closed for private event when we arrived in the morning

All our food! The set meal comes with rice too! Japanese have such a big appetite! :P

Grilled chicken steak with basil and lemon sauce

Hamburg steak

Waffle and marshmallow dipped with chocolate for dessert!

My grilled chicken steak has too much lemon sauce; it's a tad too sour. My chicken wasn't served hot as well, not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but I like my main dish hot. Also, the sauce is liked drizzled over the whole plate, anything you eat is sour.. The hamburg steak was good and warm. We had yummy chocolate goodness to end our meal! It is super filling cause the set comes with rice as well. So much food!

Even though it is not a cheap dining option as compared to other restaurants in Japan, the decor are nice, food tastes not bad and it is very filling! Not sure if they allow you to share a meal, otherwise that would be a cheaper and more worth option!
