PURIKURA IN KANTO!

*Updated with pictures on 6/6/16

My love for Purikura is endless! Read more on my post on what Purikura is about in my previous post >>here<<

For this post on Purikura in Kanto, I shall list the places where I took purikura in Tokyo and its vicinity. Upon reaching Tokyo, I realised that it is more difficult to find game arcades that offer costumes rental there as compared to Osaka. We found 1 located in Ikekuburo which offers a number of outfits at a cost of 200yen for each outfit. Much more expensive than the one we had in Osaka HEP FIVE; since HEP FIVE offers passport price for unlimited number of costumes. I think I forgot to take a picture of the costumes available though.. :/ Too happy that we finally found a store >.<

Akihabara
I can't remember if it is this SEGA store or the one slightly above it that has a set of costumes.

We bought matching top in Tokyo GU!

Cosplay~

Harajuku
There are many Purikura stores along Takeshita Street. If you start from the left side of the street from the map below, the first store is located on the left hand side of the street. Furtherdown, I recall seeing 2 more Purikura stores along the right hand side of the street. The 2 stores that I went to have a lot of variety of machines including latest and limited period machines.

Pretty princess :P

Last Purikura taken!

Ikebukuro
If you want to take Purikura in costumes, this is the place to go - SEGA! It is not cheap though. 200yen for each costume rental and this was already a promo since they were renting all the costumes at 200yen. There were some outfits which costs more than 200yen originally.

We are blue and orange!

Ikspiari Mall @ Disney
We chanced upon a Purikura store in Ikspiari Mall at Disney there!

Odaiba
We took several Purikura in different shops in Odaiba.

We took the first Purikura in Aqua City Odaiba.

Tokyo Leisureland is located on the 4th floor if I'm not wrong. Quite a lot of Purikura machines here. We spotted a nail sticker machine here as well and we tried it out! Basically, there are pre-designed nail art set inside (a LOT of them) and you choose the design you want. You can then change the design slightly in the next page by changing the sticker design on the nails and the background design. Finally, you choose the nail size and you are done!

My friend's final nail art sticker!

Our Purikura and nail art taken here!~

Later that night, we took another Purikura at another Leisureland (like literally.. What's up with the same name?? :O) We tried out the Ninja House here as well..

Cause we are cool like that~

Another place where we took Purikura is at Decks Tokyo Beach.

I have spotted 3 places in Decks Tokyo Beach where there are Purikura machines.
  1. Hollywood photo studio [ハリウッド写真館] is located at Daiba Itchome Shotengai [台場一丁目商店街] at Decks Seaside Mall Level 4. This store is quite small.
  1. There is an arcade with 2 or 3 Purikura booths located near Tokyo Trick Art Museum at Island Mall Level 4 as well.
Easter design!
  1. Inside Tokyo Joypolis, there are also Purikura booths.

Shibuya
The arcade with the most number of Purikura machines I have seen is at Adores Game Centre.
Located here!

There is 1 Taito station and 1 SEGA arcade in Shibuya but if I didn't rmb wrongly, there were only 2-4 machines in each of those arcades.

Shinjuku
We went to Taito station in Shinjuku for our Purikura.
